This class will work on "real life skills" with impulse control, leash skills, dog distraction, house manners and more! A knowledge of basic obedience (sit, down, etc) would be beneficial for this class

CGC Prep
Tuesdays 7:30 - 8:30p
This class will focus on improving your dog’s manners and enhancing the bond between you and your dog. We will work on maintaining the dogs focus and attention in crowds/while on walks, allowing for positive handling at vet visits, working through distractions/fears as well as building the dogs confidence when separated from the handler/owner. We will also work through any specific training struggles the dog has had - ie, crating, recall, impulsivity. This class is ideal for any dog owner - from the pet owner to the team entering the competitive arena. At the end of the session, dogs will have the option to test for the CGC and novice trick dog titles if they choose.

Ring Transition

This class is for teams at any level who are preparing or are already competing. Class will cover ring entrance and exercise transitions, common trial distractions and stretching reinforcements to prepare the dog for trial where no reward is given until the end.

Canine Good Citizen & Advanced

An AKC program to promote responsible dog ownership and to encourage the training of well-mannered dogs. The 10 test items on the CGC test are practical, functional behaviors that every dog should have. Already have your CGC? Advanced level skills will be trained and tested for the CGCA title in the same class. Some classes may be off-site

Kidz Are Us
Sundays 10:00 – 11:00 am
Sundays 11:00 - 12:00 pm
Now featuring classes for two age groups: kids ten and under (10:00am Sunday) and those over ten (11:00am Sunday). Fun games and skills such as learning rally signs, recalls, the longest stay, walk the ladder, and more. In addition to basic training games, young handlers will learn how to properly interact when greeting other dogs. We ask parents to help with kids who are not able to handle their dog by themselves.
