I was born in 1955 in St Joseph, Mich….just kidding, pretty sure that’s NOT what you have in mind!
I taught in the Equine Business Management program at Cazenovia College for 39 years. My first serious dog training was with a Bernese Mountain Dog in the 1980s that earned her C.D. with a Dog World award (if you know what that is, it really dates you!) Took a hiatus from dog training to build and establish my own horse farm, then sold it in 2011 so I would have time to work dogs again! I’ve trained a Sheltie and a Keeshond through Utility (Sheltie Royce has his U.D.) and put CDXs, Rally Masters, and Agility Masters titles on both Royce and Freya (late Keeshond, who also earned scent work titles!) Current partners are Sheltie Royce and Baby Keeshond Lizzie.
I started teaching at Dottie’s Dog School in 2018/2019….and now at the wonderful Star Canine Community Center. I LOVE training dogs and helping people with their dogs! Love all breeds!
